Administrative Professional/Receptionist – Part Time (Afternoon) - Virginia

Primary Responsibilities:

Health Quality Innovators (HQI) is a health care quality consulting company that has helped improve patient care and safety for thousands of people in Maryland, Virginia and beyond since 1984. We currently deliver technical assistance and education to providers, patients and community partners across the region as one of Medicare’s Quality Innovation Network– Quality Improvement Organizations and Practice Transformation Networks. We are seeking a courteous, reliable professional to perform general administrative and receptionist duties five afternoons a week in our friendly, team-oriented office in Richmond’s West End. You are the first impression that many people have of our organization, so the ability to represent HQI appropriately is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility in taking direction from multiple sources, skill in juggling simultaneous assignments and the poise to handle interruptions while maintaining focus. Experience answering a 5+ line telephone system and properly directing calls is desirable.

Requirements include:

  1. A minimum of three years’ related work experience, post-high school secretarial course work and/or formal training.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  3. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products.
