Operations Director, Healthcare Transformation - Virginia

Fulltime: Yes

Primary Responsibilities:

Be on the forefront of change. Your experience managing a hospital department, health system service line, insurer quality program or large medical group can put you there as the Operations Director for a dynamic team that supports clinical and operational improvement in hundreds of physician practices across a multi-state region.

As Operations Director, you will report to the Vice President and manage day-to-day consulting activities that include practice transformation, quality reporting and improvement, electronic health record (EHR) optimization and payment reform readiness. Scheduling, reporting, and ensuring timely results for clients will be among your key responsibilities. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations, MACRA, and public and private sector contracting will be valuable, along with the ability to interface with clients that include healthcare executives and government personnel.

While ambulatory experience is desirable, it is not required. We are looking for a sharp, efficient, hardworking professional with a proven record of using business intelligence and top-notch interpersonal skills to plan work, lead people and deliver high quality results in a complex healthcare environment.

A Master’s Degree in healthcare administration, business or a related area is required, along with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Healthcare quality improvement skills are a plus, as is familiarity with clinical processes, workflow redesign and effective EHR use.
