Project Coordinator, Practice Transformation Network - Virginia

Put your combination of project management experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of healthcare payment reform to work as a Project Coordinator assisting our physician services team with HQI’s Practice Transformation Network (PTN). PTN is part of the Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPI) whereby our network is one of 29 PTNs across the country assisting 140,000 clinicians deliver better care and value to their patients by maximizing efficiencies, managing population health, and improving care coordination.

As our Project Coordinator, you will maintain positive relationships with stakeholder organizations and work to develop new collaborative relationships that will serve to facilitate project success. For example, you will coordinate with other PTNs and Support and Alignment Networks (SANs), to learn how they are being successful, share our success, and determine alignment of our programs, as well as shared resources. Maintaining effective lines of communication with external stakeholders is critical. You will also be responsible for finding and creating tools and resources that align with the concepts of practice transformation. You will assist to manage and coordinate assignments regarding the methods of practice transformation we are using, responding to CMS requests and according to contract deliverables and timelines. The Project Coordinator will also coordinate educational opportunities for our network participants.

A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or a related area is required. A Master’s degree is beneficial. Three (3) to five (5) years health-related operational experience or practice management background required. Experience managing multiple projects with several stakeholders, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a proven track record of fostering collaborative professional relationships is a plus. This position is Richmond-based.
