Warriner Reappointed to Virginia Board of Pharmacy
Governor Terry McAuliffe recently announced that Cynthia L. W. Warriner, BS, RPh, CDE, has been reappointed to the Virginia Board of Pharmacy for a second term. Currently serving as Chairman, she has been an active member of the board since she was first appointed in 2012.
As VHQC’s Pharmacist, Warriner leads a regional initiative to decrease the rate of adverse drug events (ADEs) in Virginia and Maryland. Under her direction, VHQC is finding innovative ways to improve the patient experience and engage pharmacists in community-based care transitions initiatives. She also works part-time at a community pharmacy.
“Cindy’s continued role with the Board of Pharmacy will ensure that patients across Virginia have access to safe pharmacy services. I admire her leadership and commitment to improving health quality for the patients and providers we serve,” said Donald A. Glozer, MHA, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer, VHQC.« Return to the News
