Primary Responsibilities:

Health Quality Innovators (HQI) is a health quality consulting company that serves as the Medicare Quality Innovation Network – Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) for Virginia, Kansas, Missouri and South Carolina. As Data Analyst, you will provide programming solutions to furnish data in formats so that quality improvement and/or special project teams can execute strategies tied to contract deliverables. Includes data analysis, analytical consultation, technical assistance related to database creation and use, report generation, and general software use in support of HQI projects and other contracts.

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Highly developed analytic and interpretation of data skills are required.

Desired Job Experience:

A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Epidemiology or related field with two years’ work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. A minimum of one year of experience working with Windows and administrative Microsoft applications such as Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Sharepoint. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming. Experience using business intelligence software such as Microsoft PowerBI (preferred, particularly knowledge in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) functions) or Tableau.
