Education Facilitator -

Primary Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking an Education Facilitator who will work on providing Maryland healthcare facility workers infection prevention and control (IPC) training to protect the nation from infectious disease threats, such as COVID-19. 


In this role, you will coordinate and promote IPC education opportunities to frontline healthcare workers in non-hospital settings. You will analyze data collected from a learning needs assessment to determine which modes of learning are most desired by the audience. These could include recorded modules, live webinars, Facebook live sessions, self-paced learning, etc. The learning needs assessment will also determine high-interest topics, including but not limited to, COVID-19, hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE), source control, triage and screening, and environmental cleaning.  


Your role will also include making sure that learning opportunities are accessible, concise and interactive. No matter the audience’s previous training or educational background they should be able to understand the material presented. 


Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work independently and be part of cross-functional teams, develop strong consultative relationships, manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines, interpret data and present training opportunities to audiences with wide variation in clinical background.  

Desired Job Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field or related area. Master’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred. Ability to travel between healthcare provider locations within the state and/or region.
