HQI Announces New Addition to Board of Directors

[Richmond, VA] – Health Quality Innovators (HQI) announces the election of Edward Albrigo to its Board of Directors. HQI serves as the Medicare Quality Innovation Network – Quality Improvement Organization for Maryland and Virginia and a Practice Transformation Network assisting practices in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia.

“Mr. Albrigo is a great addition to our Board. He brings strong corporate leadership experience and a commitment to advancing health care innovation across the region,” said Donald A. Glozer, MHA, FACHE, HQI’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Albrigo, a Chantilly resident, serves as the president and chief executive officer of the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) which is committed to accelerating innovation and entrepreneurship across Virginia. His more than 30 years of executive leadership experience includes roles at Freddie Mac, Hilltop Companies, the Corporation for Open Systems and Booz Allen Hamilton. Mr. Albrigo earned his Master of Business Administration in Management Sciences from San Diego State University. He also received a bachelor’s in Computer Sciences from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s in Natural Sciences from the University of Rochester.
