National Pharmacy Leader Joins Health Quality Innovators Board

Health Quality Innovators (HQI), a nonprofit health quality consulting company, announces the election of Kurt A. Proctor, Ph.D., RPh to its Board of Directors. The organization serves thousands of providers and patients in Virginia, Maryland and adjoining states as a federally-funded Quality Innovation Network–Quality Improvement Organization and Practice Transformation Network.

“As a national pharmacy leader, Mr. Proctor is a strong addition to our Board of Directors. His experience in pharmacy administration, quality improvement and association leadership mean he will bring valuable insights to the work of our organization,” said HQI President and CEO Donald A. Glozer, MHA, FACHE.

Proctor currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA). In addition, he is the President of the NCPA Innovation Center. Previously, he served as a pharmacist consultant for HQI and President of KAP Services, a consulting company focused on improving care coordination and medication therapy management. Mr. Proctor earned his B.S. in Pharmacy from Ferris State University and both his M.S. and Ph.D. in Pharmacy Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
