VHQC Provides State, National Health Quality Leadership

VHQC, a nonprofit health quality consulting company, was recently awarded three contracts by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). For the next three years, VHQC will serve as the Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for Virginia, as it has for the last 27 years. Additionally, the organization will lead two QIO National Coordinating Centers (NCCs) – one focused on spreading health care improvement and a second dedicated to improving population health. VHQC earned noncompetitive renewal of all three contracts based on prior performance.​
